The Tool Crib Assistant, Standard Edition
Basic capabilities include the ability to add a new item starting from a copy of an
existing one, which reduces data entry when you have multiples of the same
kind of tool.  You may also link, or attach, documents or web site URL's to an
item, such as a record of purchase, operating manual, etc.

You may display and/or print an item's transaction history, the tool users to
which an item has been issued but not yet returned, the order(s) not yet filled
for an item, and the quantities of an item removed from service.

With the Standard Edition, you may issue a tool to a tool user, return a  
previously issued tool, expend (consume) a tool, record an order for more of a
tool (and optionally create a purchase requisition), record the receipt of some
quantity from an order, remove a tool from service, restore a tool previously
removed from service, and, when necessary, adjust a tool's quantity in inventory.

You may create a list of tools for issue to a tool user, and choose to use that list
when the tools are returned.  You may create "model" lists that are commonly
used in certain situations and then very quickly create a list for issue to a tool
user from that model

You may also display and/or print the tools that are currently out of service.
The current status of your items, particularly useful for audits.

Items' Activity, listing tools' activity, by month, for a specified time period.
Your Items' Index
The valuation of your inventory of items.
An Items' Catalog, listing each item's information.
A list of all items that have been issued but not yet returned.
A list of your retired items.
A list of your items that have had no activity during a specified period.
A list of your orders that have not yet been filled.
A report of the cost of transactions for tool users during a specified period.
A report of your items' transactions during a specified period.
Other capabilities include...
Real-time alerts when an item's quantity on hand or available reaches its
reorder point.  From the alert, an order may be created or a reorder entry
may be generated for review and use in creating an order at a later time.
Management of your crib, or store, locations, including display and/or print
of the items assigned to a location.
Management of your items' index, which is also available on the main
window listing your tools.
Management of your orders that have not yet been filled.
Management of your reorders, created either by  real-time alerts or a scan
of all your items for low-stock conditions.  You may create an order from an
individual reorder, select the reorders for which orders are to be created,
or create orders for all reorders with a specific supplier.
Management of your suppliers, including display and/or print of the items
last purchased from a supplier.
Management of your tool users, including display and/or print of the items
issued to but not yet returned from, and the transactions for, a tool user.
