The Contractor Standard Edition includes all the capabilities of the Standard
Edition, but operates differently with consumable items.
In the Standard Edition, a consumable item is considered expended/consumed
when it leaves the crib or store - when you select an item on the main window,
press the Expend button, and the specified quantity is removed from inventory
and optionally assigned to a tool user.
This approach is intended for settings, such as manufacturing, where you know
the consumable will be used and not returned when it leaves the crib or store.
In the Contractor Standard Edition, you may not select an item and expend it.
You may only issue items, durable or consumable, to a tool user. When it's time
to return the items from the tool user, you'll return those actually returned to the
crib or store and expend those consumables not returned. If between the time
of the original issue and the final return more of a consumable item are needed,
they are simply issued to the tool user, and the tool user's record reflects the
additional quantity.

some quantity of a consumable thought to be sufficient, knowing full well that
more may be needed or that some quantity will not be used.
